Brayden Robinson<\/a>\u200d\u00a0had his decision date locked in for months.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 2026 Texas\u00a0receiver would announce his college decision on July 20th.<\/p>\n

But after taking official visits to Arizona, Miami and Notre Dame, Robinson moved his announcement date up by two full weeks to July 6th.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it was just too much time,\u201d Robinson told Irish Sports Daily.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m ready, man. I can’t express it enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robinson will choose between his three finalists; Notre Dame, Miami and Arizona.<\/p>\n

Those three schools made it to the end with the way they recruited him over the past several months.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust the connection, consistency with the recruiting,\u201d he said of what set his finalists apart. \u201cI just wanted to find somewhere I’m not tolerated, but appreciated by the program, somewhere that I’ll be utilized correctly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was pretty much it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 5-foot-8, 165-pounder likes the way the Irish would use him if he chose Notre Dame.<\/p>\n

\u201cMainly in the slot, but they’ll move me around inside, outside, backfield and in the return game,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it fits pretty good. I feel like I could do pretty much everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robinson has had some communication with Notre Dame since his official visit a couple weeks ago, mainly with receivers coach Mike Brown.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’ve got a pretty good relationship since he’s been recruiting me since last spring,\u201d Robinson said of Brown.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe’s a good dude.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Irish have two receivers in the fold currently with Dylan Faison and Bubba Frazier.<\/p>\n

They have two more, in addition to Robinson, on the Target List in Kaydon Finley and Devin Fitzgerald.<\/p>\n

Coincidentally – or maybe not – Finley will announce on July 4th and Fitzgerald will announce on July 5th.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Could Robinson\u2019s announcement on July 6th mean three in a row for Notre Dame?<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
