If the Texans upset the two-time defending champion Chiefs, that would mean the winner of Ravens-Bills will host the AFC Championship game.<\/p>\n
A Texans win won’t be easy, though. The Chiefs are 15-1 this season when Patrick Mahomes plays, including a 27-19 win over Houston in Week 16. Mahomes and some key Chiefs starters haven’t played since Christmas Day. Will they be fresh or rusty?<\/p>\n
If the Texans and Ravens win, Baltimore will host the AFC title game for the second consecutive year. The Ravens dominated the Texans on the road in Week 17, winning 31-2, and Baltimore’s defense has kept Houston’s offense out of the end zone across three games in the past two seasons.<\/p>\n
However, even if the Chiefs win, both the Ravens and Bills have shown they can hang with Kansas City.
