LOS ANGELES (AP) \u2014 San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir\u00a0was arrested in Los Angeles on a charge of obstructing law enforcement and later released Friday, police said.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles police said they saw multiple double-parked cars blocking traffic at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday. They said a suspect \u201cappearing to conceal contraband\u201d threw the keys to one of the cars to Lenoir, who refused to give them to officers.<\/p>\n

Officers eventually recovered a gun and narcotics in one of the cars. Lenoir, 25, was arrested and booked on a charge of delaying and resisting a peace officer.<\/p>\n

According to the county jail inmate information center, Lenoir was released around 1 a.m. Friday and is due to appear in court July 25.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the 49ers did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.<\/p>\n

Lenoir, a 2021 fifth-round pick by San Francisco, signed a\u00a0five-year, $92 million extension<\/a> with the 49ers in November. He recorded six interceptions and 26 pass breakups over his first four seasons with the 49ers.<\/p>\n

Lenoir attended Salesian High School in Los Angeles and was a three-year starter at the University of Oregon.<\/p>\n
