Eagles\u2019 OT Lane Johnson caught up this week with a couple former teammates, LeSean McCoy and Emmanuel Acho, on their show, \u201cThe Facility,\u201d<\/a> and spoke about head coach Nick Sirianni.<\/p>\n

Johnson explained that one of the best things about Sirianni is that he\u2019s a very good communicator, and how the head coach always addressed potential distractions, good or bad, as a team so nothing lingered \u2014 including the mid-season comments about the passing game last year. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s evolved as he\u2019s become a head coach. There\u2019s things, you know, he had some vocal stuff on the sidelines, but he\u2019s addressed stuff with the team when he\u2019s wrong, and I think that makes him human, makes him vulnerable, and I think it makes guys communicate more effectively with him.<\/p>\n

The OT also said that Sirianni is very passionate and competitive, and that helps get the guys motivated.<\/p>\n

Eagles players made an effort last season to encourage the head coach to be himself, and he seems to have taken their advice.
