Rob Gronkowski<\/a> and Julian Edelman<\/a> had the luxury of playing with, and winning several Super Bowls with Tom Brady<\/a> as their quarterback.<\/p>\n

But if Brady didn\u2019t exist, who would the former New England Patriots<\/a> duo want as quarterback?<\/p>\n

\u201cJosh Allen,\u201d Gronkowski said on a recent episode of the \u201cDudes on Dudes\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cI love his game. That was a no-brainer for me. That was the first quarterback that popped up in my head.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Edelman liked his former teammates pick, he had someone else in mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love to have (Joe) Burrow,\u201d Edelman said<\/a>. \u201cI mean, you would love to have (Patrick) Mahomes. Our offense is a little different. There\u2019s a little more drop-back pass. I don\u2019t know. Mahomes is pretty good, too, but I think Burrow. I don\u2019t want someone running as much as Mahomes on those third downs. I want them throwing because I want those third downs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen<\/a> was the 2024 NFL MVP after leading the Bills to a 13-4 record. They ultimately fell in the AFC Championship Game to the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n

The Bills quarterback completed 63.6% of his passes for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions.<\/p>\n

Burrow, meanwhile, didn\u2019t have as much success with the Bengals in 2024. Cincinnati went 9-8 and missed the playoffs, two years after making it to Super Bowl LVI.<\/p>\n

Despite a down year for the Bengals, Burrow still racked up 4,918 yards, 43 touchdowns \u2014 both of which led the NFL \u2014 and completed 70.6 of his passes.<\/p>\n
