Miscues Help Falcons Take \u2013 and Keep \u2013 Lead<\/p>\n
Miscues by the Raiders gave Atlanta great starting field position on its first two possessions. The Falcons began their first drive at the Raiders 48-yard line after recovering an Alexander Mattison fumble. The Raiders defense stood strong though as rookie defensive tackle Jonah Laulu sacked Kirk Cousins on third down for a 10-yard loss to push the Falcons out of field goal range.<\/p>\n
The Raiders’ next possession resulted in a tipped punt and Atlanta took over just shy of midfield at their own 49-yard line. They capitalized in six plays and found the end zone on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins to Drake London.<\/p>\n
