The Georgia Bulldogs have enjoyed a remarkable month on the recruiting front, and they ended June in style by securing commitments from two more highly rated prospects.<\/p>\n

Per On3’s Hayes Fawcett, the Bulldogs landed a pair of four-star recruits on Monday.<\/p>\n

Defensive lineman PJ Dean (Clemmons, NC.) committed to Georgia<\/a>, picking the Bulldogs over the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Ohio State Buckeyes.<\/p>\n

Dean’s commitment was followed by that of 2027 cornerback Donte Wright (Long Beach, Calif.). Wright elected to leave his home state, choosing Georgia<\/a> ahead of the USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks and Texas A&M Aggies.<\/p>\n

It means the Bulldogs have now sealed 16 commitments this month, stacking the deck in a big way as they aim to put themselves in a position to consistently contend for national titles after missing out in each of the last two seasons.<\/p>\n

According to On3<\/a>, the Bulldogs have the No. 2 recruiting class in the country for 2026, one headlined by the top-ranked quarterback in Jared Curtis (Nashville, Tenn.) and the top-ranked defensive lineman in James Johnson (Cape Coral, Fla.).<\/p>\n

In Dean, they now have the No. 5 defensive lineman in 2026, with Wright giving Georgia the No. 7 cornerback in the 2027 class.<\/p>\n

Georgia’s pulling power in the recruiting game remains extremely impressive, and it is setting the Bulldogs up for a very bright future.<\/p>\n
