That\u2019s right, your now annual watch of the hit Netflix series which just dropped season two, isn\u2019t the first docuseries to follow the famed NFL cheerleaders. In fact, DCC: Making The Team has a whopping 16 seasons in its catalogue. That\u2019s a lot of AC DC \u2018Thunderstruck\u2019.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve probably even seen footage of the reality TV series predecessor scattered throughout America\u2019s Sweethearts. The new series often shows footage of DCC Director Kelli Finglass<\/a> and choreographer, Judy Trammell, dishing out some harsh (and possibly no longer acceptable) critiques to the team.<\/p>\n

What Happened To Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team?<\/p>\n

The original reality show followed a relatively similar premise and format to the new Netflix series, documenting the audition process for the DCC team.<\/p>\n

It began airing in 2006 and ran for 16 seasons until the 2021-22 season when the show was ultimately axed.<\/p>\n

Exactly why the show stopped being produced remains unclear, but Netflix\u2019s docu series began just two years later, filming the 2023-24 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With some DCC veterans totalling six years on the team, it should come as no surprise to see some familiar faces across both shows.
