“Offense might get all the glory, but having a defense that can neutralize dynamic offenses is still a game-changer,” Ballentine said.<\/p>\n

That is why these investments are so important, particularly with a young Drake Maye as New England’s starting quarterback.<\/p>\n

The Patriots are undergoing a violent transformation on defense. With scheme upgrades, elite free agents like Milton Williams, and a physical mindset from Vrabel’s coaching staff, they\u2019re positioned to significantly outperform their 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n
