Smith is EA Sports College Football\u2019s top overall player on either side of the football this season. Coming in at a 98 overall, Smith earned his rating by proving himself as one the most prolific true freshmen wide receivers in college football history in 2024.<\/p>\n
He caught 76 passes for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns en route to helping Ohio State<\/a> win its first national championship under head coach Ryan Day. All signs point toward Smith being among the elite in the sport this fall. <\/p>\n With as much attention as Ryan Williams received during his true freshman season at Alabama<\/a> in 2024, it\u2019s hard to believe the star wideout didn\u2019t eclipse 1,000 yards receiving last season. He finished the year with 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns with the Crimson Tide.<\/p>\n Returning for year two, Alabama expects a big jump in production for the sophomore wideout. EA Sports is predicting similar success on the field, bolstering him as one of the best overall players in this year\u2019s game. <\/p>\n The top overall running back in the video game, Notre Dame<\/a>\u2018s Jeremiyah Love comes in at 95 overall after a breakout season in 2024. He finished the year with 163 carries, surpassing the 1,000-yard mark and rushing for 17 touchdowns as he helped lead the Fighting Irish to the national championship game.<\/p>\n Notre Dame expects itself to be right back in the conversation for a spot in the College Football Playoff once more in 2025. To do that, the Fighting Irish may have to lean even heavier on the run game given they\u2019ll be inexperienced under center this fall.<\/p>\n Some see Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams in a league of their own as the best wide receivers in college football. Arizona State<\/a>\u2018s Jordyn Tyson will look to prove why EA Sports considers him a top-five rated offensive player in this year\u2019s game. <\/p>\n Tyson was a 1,000-yard receiver next to first-round draft pick Tetairoa McMillan<\/a> in the Sun Devils offense. However, he suffered a season-ending injury against Arizona on Nov. 30 but is expected to be healthy for the start of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n Kadyn Proctor comes in as the No. 1-rated offensive tackle in EA Sports College Football 26. And it\u2019s for good reason.<\/p>\n The anchor of the Alabama offensive line this season, Proctor is a potential first-round draft choice for the Crimson Tide. When the 6-foot-7, 370-pounder is locked in, he\u2019s one of the strongest offensive linemen in the game. <\/p>\n A former four-star recruit, Spencer Fano stayed close to home for college, playing for Utah<\/a> and has developed into one of the best offensive tackles in college football. The Provo native, like Proctor, is expected to be one of the top offensive tackles in next season\u2019s NFL Draft cycle. <\/p>\n Last season, PFF gave him a run-block rating of 93.6. That type of success rate against defenders one on one is sure to attract NFL scouts to Salt Lake City this fall. In turn, he\u2019s one of the best offensive lineman in this year\u2019s game.<\/p>\n With both Proctor and Fano protecting the outside, Ar\u2019maj Reed-Adams figures to be the top offensive guard in EA Sports College Football 25. In his final season of eligibility, he\u2019s one of the most experienced players on this list.<\/p>\n Before transferring to Texas A&M<\/a> ahead of the 2024 season, Reed-Adams appeared in 31 games, including 15 starts across four seasons at Kansas<\/a>. Last season in College Station he started every game at right guard for the Aggies, helping his offense rank second in the SEC last season with 195.5 rushing yards per game.<\/p>\n The first-team All-SEC tight end returned to Vanderbilt<\/a> this offseason after a successful sophomore campaign in Nashville. He tallied 49 receptions for 638 yards and five touchdowns, which ranked second in the conference last season.<\/p>\n Back for what could be his last season in college football, he is EA Sports\u2019 No. 1 overall tight end in this year\u2019s video game. Reuniting with Diego Pavia<\/a> for one more year, fans of the Commodores will be making that connection early and often in this year\u2019s video game.<\/p>\n Mauigoa earned All-ACC second team honors in 2024 as a sophomore with the Miami Hurricanes<\/a>. Last season, he played a vital role in his team ranking as the No. 1 offense in nation in both points per game (43.9) and yards per game (537.2).<\/p>\n There are concerns surrounding Miami\u2019s offensive production due to its change under center.
