The New York Giants<\/a> are trading Darren Waller to the Miami Dolphins<\/a> after the veteran tight end decided to unretire following a year away from the game.<\/p>\n

In exchange for Waller and a seventh-round pick in the 2027 NFL draft, the Giants will receive a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. That gives the team seven current picks next April.<\/p>\n

Those picks are as follows:<\/p>\n

The Giants traded their 2026 third-round selection and second- and third-round picks in the 2025 NFL draft to the Houston Texans<\/a> in exchange for pick No. 25 overall this past April, which was used to select quarterback Jaxson Dart.<\/p>\n

An additional sixth-round pick was gained from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick and defensive lineman Jordan Phillips.<\/p>\n

The current lot of picks assumes the Giants do not receive any compensatory picks in the 2026 draft.
