Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett started the offseason by demanding a trade.<\/p>\n

Now, just a couple of months after signing a contract extension that made him the highest-paid (at the time) non-quarterback in the NFL, he’s ready to have the best year of his eight-year career.<\/p>\n

And that would be an accomplishment.<\/p>\n

Someone who knows something about how dominant Garrett can be, former NFL offensive lineman Terron Armstead, believes the former Texas A&M Aggies defender might be entering his prime in Year 9.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a problem. He has 0.5% body fat, so you\u2019re looking at this guy before he gets in his stance \u2014 it doesn\u2019t make sense. His ability to have so much power, to be that size, but can rush being just inches off the ground,\u201d Armstead said during an appearance on Good Morning Football<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s added more elements to his game. Now you see the progression he\u2019s made going into 2025. He\u2019s going to touch 20 sacks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that he’s locked in with a new contract and all the offseason distractions are gone, Garrett says he can focus on next season – and the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I look forward to having my best season for sure, and I think it\u2019s trending that way. Been really good, and I think everything\u2019s pointed in that direction,\u201d Garrett said<\/a> during minicamp. \u201cAnd I like where we are as a defensive unit. It\u2019s really firing, really rolling, and I think it\u2019s really clicking as far as the scheme and the plays, especially early on. That\u2019s big.\u201d<\/p>\n
