We begin with wide receiver Taz Reddicks, who checks in at No. 25…

Taz Reddicks

Wide Receiver

Bio

No. 10

5-foot-11, 192-pounds

Redshirt Sophomore

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Dillard HS

2024 Stats: 17 rec, 222 yards, 11 GP

Reddicks 2024 Recap

After redshirting during his true-freshman campaign in 2023, Reddicks broke into the rotation in his redshirt-freshman campaign, playing in 11 games with six starts and tallying 17 catches for 222 yards. The 5-foot-11, 192-pounder finished with the fifth-most receiving yards on the team and was fourth amongst receivers, behind Trent Walker, Darrius Clemons, and Jeremiah Noga. He finished with a season-high four catches twice, against San Diego State and Oregon, and tallied 35 yards receiving twice, against San Diego State and Idaho State. Considering the Beavers didn’t exactly have a stellar passing attack last season, it’s very promising Reddicks was able to carve out a niche as such a young guy, giving him a big boost entering next season.

Reddicks 2025 Outlook

Entering the 2025 campaign, Reddicks is primed for an even bigger role in the receiving corps, and if spring practices were any indication, he’s certainly got the attention of the coaching staff and his teammates with his strong play. Reddicks was one of the standout receivers during spring practices, and offensive coordinator Ryan Gunderson talked about just how important he’s going to be for the Beavers this fall.

“Taz day in and day out has been with that first group,” Gunderson said post-spring game. “He’s consistent, and you could make the argument every day that he’s playing just as good as anyone else. He’s dependable, and we’re able to move him from the slot to the outside and can do both, he cares a lot, and he’s going to be a big piece for us this fall.”

With Trent Walker and Darrius Clemons pretty locked into the No. 1 and No. 2 WR spots, respectively, Reddicks is in the mix for the third spot, and his versatility, as Gundy mentioned above, just might give him the EDGE. He’ll also be competing with Zach Card, Jimmy Valsin, and others for that final spot, but with Jeremiah Noga transferring, it opens up a spot, and as we enter into camp, Reddicks has a really good shot of claiming it.

With Maalik Murphy under center, Reddicks has the potential to really see his numbers jump, as now he’ll have a consistent passer under center, and an offense wanting to create more explosive plays in the passing game, and that should feed right into Reddicks’ skillset.

Previously

Honorable Mentions Part 2

Honorable Mentions Part 1

In the months leading up to the start of fall camp, BeaversEdge.com will be counting down the Top…

[5
7,49,48,6094,38401
0":"post-174181","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-ncaa-football","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-ncaa","10":"tag-ncaa-football","11":"tag-oregon-state-beavers","12":"tag-taz-reddicks-23-dillard
["GET
