Former Tennessee Titans<\/a> wide receiver Randy Moss had a tumultuous year in 2024. The Hall of Fame receiver was forced to step away from his role on Sunday NFL Countdown and miss the final two months of the season after being diagnosed with cancer. Now, with his battle behind him, he appears set to return to the show in 2025.<\/p>\n

While this had been the hope of those around the NFL after Moss reunited with his broadcast team for the Super Bowl, it was confirmed by Andrew Marchand<\/a> of The Athletic in a statement from ESPN.<\/p>\n

Randy\u2019s return on Super Bowl Sunday was an emotional lift \u2014 not just for our team but for the entire football community \u2014 and knowing he will resume his full Sunday NFL Countdown schedule, beginning in Week 1, has been the highlight of the offseason.<\/p>\n

Moss will be entering his 10th season on ESPN when the season kicks off, which is over nine more than he played for the Titans.<\/p>\n

Moss joined the Titans midway through the 2010 season after he was acquired via waivers from the Minnesota Vikings, and his struggles continued. The once explosive wideout suited up for three teams that season, with the final eight games (four starts) in Nashville, recording only six receptions for 80 yards.<\/p>\n

Those totals were part of his worst season in the NFL, where he pulled in only 28 receptions for 393 yards and five touchdowns for the three teams.<\/p>\n
