SALT LAKE CITY\u2014Kyle Whittingham\u2019s Utah football program is looking to put some final polish on its June recruiting efforts.<\/p>\n
This week alone, they\u2019ve secured the commitments of four-star offensive tackle Kelvin Obot, four-star receiver Jaron Pula, and three-star athlete Kennan Pula. Now, they seem to be emerging as the top option for the top player in the state of Utah.<\/p>\n
According to On3\/Rivals\u2019 Steve Wiltfong, the Utes are trending for the No. 1 prospect<\/a> in the state of Utah.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Utah football trending for Salesi Moa?<\/p>\n Salesi Moa \u2013 .9444 Four-Star | No. 57 Overall | No. 3 Athlete | No. 1 Utah<\/p>\n Utah made a powerful impression<\/a> with the state\u2019s top-ranked player to begin the month and seems to have weathered the storm of his other visits. Moa previously told 247 Sports\u2019 Blair Angulo that his visit to Utah was \u201cthe best visit.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0 He followed that up with trips to Michigan and Tennessee, but the Utes have held onto the top spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n Checking in at 6-2, 190 pounds, Moa is a dynamic athlete who has two-way potential. Utah is recruiting Moa primarily as a receiver, where Jason Beck and Micah Simon have made a very appealing pitch.
