I posted it,\u201d a Sanders supporter, Hellion \u2018Boog\u2019 Knight posted Thursday on X in a quote tweet featuring the initial criticism. \u201cHe didn\u2019t ask me, or anyone else to post anything. Nor did he ask for a hundred cameras to be on him upon his entrance into the school. This isn\u2019t his first school visit. He\u2019s done MANY, in various cities &amp; states.This is just spewed hate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Shedeur did NOT post anything! I posted it. He\u2019s done MANY, in various cities &amp; states.This is just spewed hate <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/SVnDlGJaEm\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/t.co\/SVnDlGJaEm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Boog (@Hboog32) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Hboog32\/status\/1918009918184976734?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">May 1, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sanders\u2019 drop to the Browns in the fifth round at pick No. 144 served as the 2025 NFL Draft\u2019s biggest storyline, with many wondering why a talented quarterback fell that far.<\/p>\n<p>Concerns about his <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/01\/sports\/college-football-analyst-details-very-unusual-shedeur-sanders-disrespect\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">off-the-field traits<\/a> and his talent level have been discussed, but some pundits wondered about all the attention Sanders and his<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/04\/30\/sports\/travis-kelce-rips-anonymous-scouts-after-shedeur-sanders-nfl-draft-slip\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> camp would bring to a team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sanders posts tons of content on social media dating back to his time at Jackson State, which his father, Deion, fully supported and even leaned into at different parts as his head coach also at Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>Sanders has a full video team as part of his massive support system.<\/p>\n<p>This drama came to light after Sanders did a good deed by visiting John Marshall High School in Cleveland, with the quarterback honoring his pledge to get involved with youths in his new home.<\/p>\n<p>Knight posted clips from the day on X, while commenting: \u201cWe appreciate the love &amp; passion from the Cleveland Brown fan base!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sanders during his visit to the Cleveland area high school. @Hboog32\/X<\/p>\n<p>ESPN Cleveland\u2019s Aaron Goldhammer had an issue with the visit, though, <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would have preferred that if he was gonna go talk to a bunch of high school kids, he didn\u2019t post it on social media five seconds after the thing was over,\u201d Goldhammer said.<\/p>\n<p>Co-host Tony Rizzo shot down the take, saying the Browns provide similar content during the season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt like it was him screaming, \u2018See, look how good a person I am. I went to a school, then I worked out. I\u2019m doing all the right things,&#8217;\u201d Goldhammer said.<\/p>\n<p>Goldhammer (r) made the comments that Knight responded to. @ESPNCleveland\/X<\/p>\n<p>Another member of the show, Chris Oldach, then said Goldhammer needs to bash any rookie who visits an ill child in the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s not any rookie,\u201d Goldhammer said. \u201cAnd the Browns are the ones posting that stuff, not the individual players.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Knight in a photo he posted to Instagram in January. @ym_boog32\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>Knight is cited by many outlets as the head of operations for Lil Wayne\u2019s Young Money APPA Sports, which represents <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/04\/25\/sports\/travis-hunters-wedding-plans-revealed-during-2025-nfl-draft\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fellow ex-Colorado star Travis Hunter<\/a>, and his X timeline has been filled with retweets supporting Sanders, along with his take on the situation and why he defended him.<\/p>\n<p>He tagged Goldhammer while posting videos from other places where Sanders has paid it forward, including in Colorado and during the Shrine Bowl in Texas.<\/p>\n<p>He further explained his logic in responding in a quote tweet of a post recapping the situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExactly. I just like to set the record straight. \u2018The media\u2019 at times, wants to bury your name in lies, and not be held accountable for doing so,\u201d Knight wrote. \u201cAnd want you to be ok with it. I say, place the accountability in the right place. Don\u2019t attack the kid, come at me.
