Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah out for Week 9<\/p>\n
Stefanski announced LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah<\/a> will be out for Week 9 against the Chargers. He did not practice on Wednesday.<\/p>\n “He was here today. He’s home now,” Stefanski said. “He’s getting better, but no update past that.”<\/p>\n Owusu-Koramoah sustained a neck injury in Week 8 against the Ravens, in which he was carted off the field and taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. He was kept overnight as a precaution and released from the hospital on Monday.<\/p>\n “He’s been unbelievable,” CB Greg Newsome II<\/a> said. “I think he’s the best linebacker in the entire NFL. So, losing a guy like that is definitely very hard. But we got guys that stepped up for him in those moments \u2013 like Mohamoud Diabate<\/a> played unbelievable out there. We got Winston Reid<\/a>. We got a lot of guys that can fill that void as best as they can.
