NFL Media’s Chad Reuter released a seven-round mock draft that focuses on building a winning team from active players for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

The draft order was based on the 2025 NFL draft’s first round, with trades and lost picks reversed. The subsequent rounds used a snake order to balance talent.<\/p>\n

The Chargers<\/a> had seven of their current players selected, including Justin Herbert, who the Jaguars<\/a> took with the fifth overall pick.<\/p>\n

Round 3:\u00a0Rashawn Slater, OT (No. 79, Dolphins)<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Chargers made the following selections:<\/p>\n

Round 2: Dexter Lawrence, DT (No. 43, Giants<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Round 3: Marlon Humphrey, CB (No. 86, Ravens)<\/p>\n

Round 5: Kyren Williams, RB (No. 150, Rams)<\/p>\n

L.A. selected the best wide receiver in the NFL with its first-round pick and arguably one of the top defensive tackles in the following round.
