Today, we’re taking a look at a mock draft for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2027—because, why not? Previously, we conducted a mock draft for 2026, which was based on a clearer understanding of what that draft might entail. This year, however, will involve much more speculation. We won’t be making specific picks for each round, as doing so would be pointless. For this mock draft, we will assume that Las Vegas is selecting somewhere around the middle of each round.

This year is going to be much more speculation. We won’t make a specific pick each round, as it’s pointless to predict. For the purpose of this mock, we are going to just assume that Las Vegas is picking somewhere near the middle of each round. Let’s get underway!

Round 1: The Raiders Select… Cam Coleman, Wide Receiver, Auburn

When Jakobi Meyers turns 30 by the 2027 draft, it’s crucial for the Raiders to discover a genuine top-tier wideout. Enter Coleman. At 6’3″ and 200 pounds, the Auburn sophomore has the potential to blossom into an elite ‘X’ receiver at the next level. He is coming off a stellar first season of college in which he caught eight touchdown passes en route to earning Freshman All-American honors.

This pick makes a lot of sense if we factor in the 2026 mock mentioned earlier where the Raiders loaded up on defense. Assuming that Las Vegas is picking somewhere in the high teens or low twenties, it is hard to predict whether or not Coleman will fall to them. One thing working in their favor is that the 2027 receiver class figures to be quite deep with the likes of Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith and Alabama’s Ryan Williams. It also figures to be a notable year for quarterbacks, which could push everyone down the board.

Speaking of quarterbacks…

Round 2: The Raiders Select… Julian Sayin, Quarterback, Ohio State

There is a lot of speculation being factored into Sayin falling this far. As mentioned before, this is going to be a very deep class, especially if guys like Arch Manning and others stick around for another year. The Ohio State quarterback could find himself as the odd man out in the first round.

That could prove to be the perfect opportunity for Las Vegas. By the 2027 draft, the Raiders will almost certainly need to be searching for their quarterback of the future. By then, Geno Smith will be 36 years old and entering the final year of his contract. This would be a fantastic opportunity for the Raiders to get somebody they can develop for a year behind Smith. There is also some familiarity with offensive coordinator Chip Kelly coming from Ohio State, another possible contributing factor. This pick would give Las Vegas the opportunity to be proactive about their future in the game’s most important position without using a ton of draft capital.

With their more pressing needs taken care of, the Raiders can now focus on selecting the best player available in the third round.

Round 3: Bo Hughley, Offensive Tackle, Georgia

Hughley is a fascinating prospect. He was a top 100 recruit coming out of high school in 2023 but has yet to see the field. Part of this is due to redshirting his freshman year and then being arrested right before the 2024 season. However, even in his third year, he figures to be unlikely to start for the Bulldogs.

Regardless, the 6’7″ tackle possesses immense potential and could be overlooked as a late day two or early day three pick. For Las Vegas, he could offer immediate depth and potentially emerge as Kolton Miller’s successor at left tackle.

Way Too Soon 2026 Raiders Mock Draft: Loading Up On Defense

*Top Photo: Ramble Illustration/Getty Images

Join The Ramble Email List

Yes, you read that title correctly.
