The Buffalo Bills’ receiver room has gotten a lot of attention this offseason, with many of the thought that Josh Allen needs more weapons.<\/p>\n

Of course, we don’t think that is the case, given what Allen was able to do last season, but yes, in an ideal world, a No.1 receiver would be great<\/a>, but it isn’t a deal-breaker.<\/p>\n

With a lot of “guys” in the receiver room, one stands to have the potential to break out and be that go-to guy for Allen, and that is second-year receiver Keon Coleman.<\/p>\n

After a rookie season plagued by injury and poor form, Coleman is determined to come back in Year 2 and be the receiver the franchise drafted him to be.<\/p>\n

And due to his potential, Bleacher Report has named Coleman as Buffalo’s most promising building block.<\/p>\n

“In February, the Buffalo Bills rewarded their most consistent wideout, Khalil Shakir, with a four-year extension,” Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton writes<\/a>. “Keon Coleman may have greater upside than the speedy slot receiver, though.<\/p>\n

“General manager Brandon Beane fired back at critics concerned about the Bills’ receiver room. The Bills’ executive will have the last word on that matter if Coleman turns more of his potential into production.”<\/p>\n

Joshua Palmer came in via free agency to go with Coleman and Khalil Shakir as Allen’s main weapons. If Coleman can see his production trend upward and haul in far more than just 29 receptions (last year’s total), the Bills’ passing game might see an uptick in form.<\/p>\n

That is rather scary considering the offense scored, on average, 30.9 points per game last season, but Coleman has the potential to become Allen’s No. 1 weapon.<\/p>\n

Another full offseason under his belt, and Coleman could be ready to take the league by storm. If he can overcome the injury bug and become a more consistent performer, there is every chance he’ll become the leader of Buffalo’s receiver room.<\/p>\n
