Adkins made the 53-man roster in 2023, playing in 10 games (one start), catching four passes for 22 yards. On special teams, Adkins made one tackle.

In 2024, Adkins began to hit his stride in the Denver offense with then-rookie quarterback Bo Nix at the helm. Adkins played in all 17 games (10 starts), catching 14 passes on 15 targets for 115 yards and three touchdowns. On special teams, Adkins contributed five total tackles (two solo, three assisted). His three scores led the team’s TEs.

Chances to make the 53-man roster: Likely. In head coach Sean Payton’s offense, the tight end position is one of the most foundational pieces in making plays successful. Whether it’s as a blocker or as a receiving threat, Adkins can help make the Broncos better in 2025, creating another target and weapon for quarterback Bo Nix heading into his sophomore season.

Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.

This article originally appeared on Broncos Wire: Denver Broncos: Nate Adkins looks to be weapon for Bo Nix

Broncos Wire‘s 90-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at third-year tight end/fullback hybrid Nate Adkins,…

[2062
925,232,231,258,2426,935,7,3889,6
0":"post-188179","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-denver-broncos","8":"tag-bo-nix","9":"tag-broncos","10":"tag-denver","11":"tag-denver-broncos","12":"tag-denverbroncos","13":"tag-east-tennessee-state","14":"tag-football","15":"tag-nate-adkins","16":"tag-nfl
["GET
