The 2025 NFL playoffs<\/a> are beating on into another week. All of this week’s playoff games will be played in one day for the first time in the postseason.<\/p>\n

Both of the NFL’s conference championship games are set to be played on Sunday. The No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> will play the No. 6 seed Washington Commanders<\/a> in the NFC championship game to start the day, while the No. 1 seed Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> will host the No. 2 seed Buffalo Bills<\/a> later in the day.<\/p>\n

Jayden Daniels<\/a> can position himself to be the first one ever to do that if he can lead Washington to a win over Philadelphia in the NFC championship game.Daniels is one of just four NFL quarterbacks to win two playoff starts in his rookie season. The others are Brock Purdy<\/a>, Mark Sanchez and Joe Flacco<\/a>. No rookie quarterback has ever won three postseason starts.Saquon Barkley<\/a> is fresh off a 205-yard outing against the Los Angeles Rams<\/a>, which was good for the fifth-most rushing yards by a player in an NFL playoff game. He needs just three more rushing yards to surpass Terrell Davis for the second-most rushing yards in a single season including the playoffs and can blow by the Hall of Famer for first place with 148 yards.The Bills are facing the Chiefs for the fourth time in the last five postseasons. They are 0-3 in their previous three meetings, so Josh Allen<\/a> will be looking to finally get the better of Patrick Mahomes<\/a> in this matchup.The Chiefs are chasing the New England Patriots’ record for the most consecutive postseason wins (10). Kansas City has eight consecutive wins and can improve to nine with a victory over Buffalo. It would also put the franchise one win away from an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.<\/p>\n
