{"id":189428,"date":"2025-07-07T23:01:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-07T23:01:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/189428\/"},"modified":"2025-07-07T23:01:13","modified_gmt":"2025-07-07T23:01:13","slug":"jacksonville-jaguars-all-time-team-vote-on-running-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/189428\/","title":{"rendered":"Jacksonville Jaguars All-Time Team: Vote on Running Back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"R4MWIS\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigcatcountry.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> are preparing for their 31st season as an NFL franchise. <\/p>\n<p id=\"RJar1w\">To commemorate their history \u2014 and to provide content during the dry part of the offseason \u2014 we\u2019d like your help in naming the team\u2019s greatest players at every position.<\/p>\n<p id=\"gGwDlq\">Here are the nominees for Jacksonville\u2019s All-Time Running Back.<\/p>\n<p>Fred Taylor (1998-08)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"   alt=\"Jacksonville Jaguars v Baltimore Ravens\" loading=\"lazy\" data-upload-width=\"3000\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2237\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1547875178.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>        Photo by George Gojkovich\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p id=\"475rqr\">Stats: 11,271 rushing yards, 2,361 receiving yards, 70 total touchdowns, 4.6 yards per carry<\/p>\n<p id=\"gqBSpK\">Bio: A first-round pick in 1998, Taylor quickly became one of the league\u2019s most explosive running backs. He topped 1,000 rushing yards in seven of his 11 seasons with Jacksonville and still holds the franchise record for career rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. Taylor was named to the Pro Bowl in 2007 and later inducted into the Pride of the Jaguars in 2012. The only players in NFL history with more career rushing yards and a higher average yards per carry are Barry Sanders and Jim Brown.<\/p>\n<p>Maurice Jones-Drew (2006-13)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"   alt=\"Denver Broncos v Jacksonville Jaguars\" loading=\"lazy\" data-upload-width=\"3000\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2541\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/104051851.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>        Photo by Sam Greenwood\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p id=\"NRcn2U\">Stats: 8,071 rushing yards, 2,873 receiving yards, 79 total touchdowns, 4.5 yards per carry<\/p>\n<p id=\"NpaCzc\">Bio: Drafted in the second round in 2006, \u201cMJD\u201d became an instant fan favorite thanks to his bowling-ball power and big-play ability. He served as both a backfield weapon and electric return man early in his career before taking over full-time duties in 2009. Jones-Drew led the NFL in rushing yards in 2011 and earned three Pro Bowl nods over his eight seasons in Jacksonville.
