If there’s one player in the NFL who could use a change of scenery, it’s Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks.<\/p>\n

The former first-round pick was the Titans’ solution for replacing A.J. Brown following one of the worst trades you’ll ever see with the Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n

Sadly, Burks hasn’t even come close to replacing Brown and, in fact, is on the cusp of being out of the league entirely if he can’t rebound in 2025.<\/p>\n

At this point, if the Titans could unload Burks for even a seventh-round pick, they might be inclined to do so.<\/p>\n

And, one team that could take Burks off the Titans’ hands is the Las Vegas Raiders, who could use more options in the wide receivers room.<\/p>\n

Cory Woodroof of For The Win has proposed a trade<\/a> between Las Vegas and Tennessee that sends Burks to Sin City.<\/p>\n

Titans get: Conditional 2026 seventh-round pick<\/p>\n

Burks’ time in Tennessee feels nigh, as the former first-round receiver has struggled to live up to his draft status because of injuries. If any team in the NFL could take a flier on a former first-round wideout, it’s the Raiders. Las Vegas has real questions at receiver, and Burks could contend for a starting role or a key depth role in Chip Kelly’s offense. Particularly with quarterback Geno Smith throwing the ball, we’d love to see Burks try to really get his NFL career going with one of the most pass-happy quarterbacks in the NFL. While the Titans would probably have to settle for a late pick, a fresh start feels right for all parties involved. The Raiders could be a nice landing spot for Burks at this point, and the Titans could give its younger receivers more reps.<\/p>\n

The Raiders have a questionable situation at wide receiver ahead of the 2025 season. Outside of Jakobi Meyers, there isn’t a ton of experience in the room.<\/p>\n

Tre Tucker is one of the elder statesmen, yet he has just two years under his belt in the NFL. Las Vegas is also facing a situation in which they might have to depend heavily on two rookies in Jack Bech and Dont’e Thornton, which is risky.<\/p>\n

Granted, Burks is as far from a sure thing as one can get after never having tallied more than 444 yards in a season, and thanks to his injury woes over three years.<\/p>\n

However, he would offer more competition and a veteran depth option. And, at the price of a conditional seventh-round pick, the Raiders don’t really have anything to lose by bringing him in, especially with Burks on the final year of his deal.<\/p>\n

One potential roadblock for a Burks trade is the status of his knee. Burks appeared in just five games last season after undergoing surgery for a partially torn ACL<\/a>, which has left his status for the start of 2025 in doubt.<\/p>\n
