Since joining ESPN in August 1995,\u00a0Sal Paolantonio\u00a0has established himself as one of the best reporters in the NFL.<\/p>\n

Paolantonio was a political reporter in the 1980s before becoming one of the top beat reporters for the Philadelphia Eagles. In 1994, he won the\u00a0Associated Press Sports Editors Award for Reporting due to his incredible work with the\u00a0Philadelphia Inquirer. He was also named\u00a0Philadelphia\u2019s Best Sportswriter in 1995.<\/p>\n

For the past three decades,\u00a0Paolantonio has covered a plethora of Super Bowl matchups for ESPN. As you’d imagine, he provided great insights on the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Kansas City Chiefs this past February.<\/p>\n

That being said,\u00a0Paolantonio will have the chance to cover at least one more Super Bowl for ESPN.<\/p>\n

Paolantonio has signed a\u00a0two-year extension with ESPN, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk<\/a>. His deal will run\u00a0through May 2027.<\/p>\n

For the most part, the NFL world is thrilled about ESPN signing Paolantonio to an extension.<\/p>\n

“SalPal one of the great. Congrats,” Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports said.<\/p>\n

“He’s\u00a0the only good thing ESPN has,” one fan wrote on X.<\/p>\n

“One of the 4 or 5 people you can listen too,” another fan commented.<\/p>\n

Paolantonio, a member of the Hall of Fame of the All-Sports Museum of Southern New Jersey, has not yet commented on his new deal with the Worldwide Leader In Sports.<\/p>\n

Who knows? Maybe he has plans for his 30-year work anniversary.<\/p>\n
