In the three years of having Ryan Poles as their general manager, the Chicago Bears have found limited on-field success, compiling a 15-36 record with no playoff appearances in that stretch.<\/p>\n

However, throughout the offseason, he’s facilitated some big moves, including <\/a>trading for offensive guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, as well as signing free agent center Drew Dalman and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett.<\/p>\n

Now, going into the 2025 season, led by the 2024 No. 1 pick, quarterback Caleb Williams, there’s some hope that the Bears can turn things around and potentially capture their first winning season since 2018.<\/p>\n

A lot of faith has been placed in Poles up until this point, as evidenced by Chicago signing him to a five-year extension, keeping him with the team through the 2029 season.<\/p>\n

Although the move has received mixed reactions, the Green Bay Packers fans are excited about the new deal, as their team has gone 5-1 against the Bears in Poles’ time with the team.<\/p>\n
