{"id":20020,"date":"2025-05-03T07:26:12","date_gmt":"2025-05-03T07:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/20020\/"},"modified":"2025-05-03T07:26:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-03T07:26:12","slug":"49ers-bring-back-tight-end-ross-dwelley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/20020\/","title":{"rendered":"49ers bring back tight end Ross Dwelley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The San Francisco 49ers signed tight end Ross Dwelley to a one-year contract on Friday, bringing back the former special teams player who spent his first six NFL seasons with the team.<\/p>\n<p>Contract terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, the 49ers signed All-Pro tight end George Kittle to a four-year contract extension worth up to $76.4 million, making him the highest-paid player at the position.<\/p>\n<p>Dwelley, 30, had signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in April 2018 and has played 101 regular-season games (17 starts) for San Francisco (2018-23) and the Atlanta Falcons (2024). He has 45 career receptions on 61 targets for 523 yards and five touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">49ers announced they have signed TE Ross Dwelley to a one-year deal.
