Bolton led a Kansas City defense that bounced back from allowing a Falcons’ touchdown drive on Atlanta’s opening series to surrender only 10 points the rest of the way. Notably, Kansas City held Falcons’ running Bijan Robinson \u2013 one of the top young tailbacks in the NFL \u2013 to just 31 yards on 16 attempts throughout the game.<\/p>\n
The Chiefs quickly matched the Falcons’ opening touchdown, too, when quarterback Patrick Mahomes found wide receiver Rashee Rice for a 13-yard score midway through the second quarter.<\/p>\n
It was part of a big night for Rice, who caught a career-most 12 passes for 110 yards and a score. Additionally, two of those catches \u2013 including his touchdown \u2013 moved the chains on third down.<\/p>\n
“He’s a guy who’s going to make plays happen.
