New Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith has been assigned a jersey number one day after Jalen Ramsey was given his.<\/p>\n
Smith was acquired in the blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins that also landed Ramsey but jettisoned safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n

Ramsey’s jersey number was revealed on Thursday<\/a>, with the new Steelers cornerback taking No. 5, which was previously owned by punter Cameron Johnston.<\/p>\n Smith’s reveal came on Friday morning via the Steelers’ X account<\/a>, and the new tight end in Pittsburgh will wear No. 81, which former Steelers tight end MyCole Pruitt sported last year.
