Coming in at No. 3 was Nelson.<\/a><\/p>\nNelson made his seventh Pro Bowl last season and was again named a second-team All-Pro. This was Nelson’s fifth All-Pro recognition, with three of those nods coming as a member of the first-team.<\/p>\n

“Honestly, nobody else has really taken the top spot from him,” an NFC executive told Fowler. “I don’t think there’s a dominant interior OL right now. He’s the closest thing.”<\/p>\n
An NFL defensive coach then said this about Nelson’s game:<\/p>\n
“He’s more vulnerable with edge pressure than he used to at this stage of his career,” a veteran NFL defensive coach said to Fowler. “But he’s still really strong and stout at the point of attack.”<\/p>\n
As Fowler noted in his rankings, Nelson had a 94.4 pass-block win rate last season, and his 77.1 run block win rate tied for first among the top 10 interior offensive linemen.<\/p>\n
