Today’s question: Which skill player will lead the Jets in touchdowns in the 2025 season?<\/p>\n
EA: Last season, Breece Hall<\/a>led the way with 8 TDs while Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams tied for second with 7 receiving scores. The Jets totaled 40 TDs, which tied for 19th. OC Tanner Engstrand was the passing game coordinator in Detroit last season where the prolific Lions produced an NFL-high 70 TDs — 39 pass TDs, 29 rush TDs and 2 return scores. Jahmyr Gibbs punched it in 20 times (16 rush and 4 pass), a mark that led the NFL and set a franchise mark for most TDs. The smart money would be to lean on Hall once again as he’s a man on a mission and he can get to the end zone multiple ways. But there is a lot of unknown with this Jets offense and I think it’s going to be a close race up top. Braelon Allen was brilliant in short-yardage situations as a rookie, Justin Fields<\/a>had 8 rush TDs with the Bears in 2022 and Wilson matched his 2022-23 scoring output last season. Rookie Mason Taylor could develop into an intriguing red zone threat as well.<\/p>\n EG: I think the favorite is Breece Hall since he’s led the team in total TDs each of the last three seasons. He’s a receiving and rushing threat, but it seems HC Aaron Glenn will split the workload between Hall, Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis more evenly than last season, so I’m going with Garrett Wilson<\/a>. Wilson is coming off a career-high 7 receiving touchdowns, which co-led the team, and Glenn said he’s hoping to get Wilson the ball as much as possible.
