The one big knock on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen entering 2024 was his reckless turnovers that hindered his team.<\/p>\n

From 2021 to 2023, Allen had at least 14 interceptions in each year, with a whopping 18 in 2023. However, last season, under new offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Allen had just six.<\/p>\n

That’s quite the turnaround.<\/p>\n

Plus, Allen had his least amount of fumbles in his career (five), so the turnovers under Brady have dropped significantly, and his overall play has improved, which led him to win the MVP award last season.<\/p>\n

And one NFL evaluator, in Jeremy Fowler’s ESPN piece ranking the top quarterbacks, has noticed the change in Allen’s approach.<\/p>\n

“He’s still got that risk-taking to his game and the occasional head-scratching play, but he’s taking more calculated risks than wild risks, which is helping his overall play,” an NFL personnel evaluator said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The hope is that Allen can continue to have fewer turnovers, as the Bills are expected to be in the Super Bowl hunt. In the postseason, you can’t afford to gift teams extra possessions.<\/p>\n

Allen didn’t have an interception in his three playoff games, but he did have three fumbles, so that needs to be straightened out. But there’s no denying that Allen has reeled in those pesky turnovers, and as a result, his game has gone to new heights.<\/p>\n

Now it has to translate into something tangible for Buffalo.<\/p>\n

Can being more calculated and less wild lead the Bills to a Super Bowl win?<\/p>\n
