Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, after his MVP win last season, has cemented his spot among the best in football, perhaps ever. It’s just a matter of where you have him in the pecking order.<\/p>\n

He has the stats, the squash buckling play style, the ability to do things on the field others can’t as a runner and passer, and now he’s added an MVP win to his collection.<\/p>\n

With Allen and the Bills being a dominant force in the regular season, the playoffs have been a different story, as the Kansas City Chiefs, as we know, have ended Buffalo’s season four straight times.<\/p>\n

But Allen has done everything in the game, and for one NFC personnel executive, as part of ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler’s top quarterbacks piece, one thing is left for Josh to complete his NFL resume.<\/p>\n

“He’s done everything,” an NFC personnel executive said via ESPN<\/a>. “He’s answered every test. He makes less mistakes and takes care of the ball. Only thing left to do is win it all.”<\/p>\n

That is the consensus in 2025.<\/p>\n

The Bills have the talent on both sides of the ball. Allen is coming off an MVP season, the division isn’t the strongest, which means a home playoff game and the potential for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. It’s put up or shut up time for Allen.<\/p>\n

He’s done everything he possibly could to get over that playoff hump, and now the defense, which many saw as a significant weakness, has seen the defensive line reinforced, along with the secondary, thanks to free agency and the draft.<\/p>\n

Everything is laid out nicely for Allen and the Bills to not only go on a deep playoff run, but to claim the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl trophy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Josh has done everything else; now he just has to complete his resume with a championship.<\/p>\n
