Training camp is right around the corner for NFL teams. And with that, teams have players who are excited to get back to work and others that are having some disagreements.<\/p>\n

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs was one player who seemed happy at one point, only to be suspended for the Week 5 game versus the Los Angeles Rams last season.<\/p>\n

The reported reason was that he was unhappy with his role within the team. Heading into the 2025 season, it could potentially be Doubs’ last in Green Bay. Per Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton,<\/a> he thinks Doubs could have a new address in Nashville with the Tennessee Titans.<\/p>\n

“Doubs can carve out a sizable role with the Titans as their No. 2 receiver behind Calvin Ridley,\u201d Moton wrote. \u201cHe has much greater potential on a squad that needs help at his position.”<\/p>\n

A few questions come to mind when it comes to Doubs and his potential landing in Tennessee if a deal were to be struck. One is the compensation Green Bay would be asking for.<\/p>\n

If the trade package includes a second or third-round pick, the Titans would be hard-pressed to make that deal. Giving up premier draft picks for him would mean Doubs has to be a consistent starter for the Titans upon his arrival.<\/p>\n

On the flip side, if the Titans offered anywhere from a fifth to a seventh-round pick, that could intrigue Green Bay enough to give up Doubs.<\/p>\n

Secondly, the Titans want to find out what they have in their rookie wide receivers, which includes Chimere Dike from Florida, Xavier Restrepo from Miami, and Elic Ayomanor from Stanford.<\/p>\n

If all three or even two of them pan out and play well, the rumors of getting another wide receiver will get quieter and quieter. If not, then the Titans may be ringing people up, looking to add to their receiving room.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, giving up early draft picks does not fit the philosophy of new Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi. And while Doubs would be a good addition to the Titans, the team’s young players are going to get the first chance to prove themselves to their coaches.<\/p>\n
