Prior to his time with the Tigers, Lambert-Smith spent four years with the Nittany Lions.<\/p>\n
He totaled 1,598 receiving yards on 116 career catches over his time at Penn State and displayed that big play ability with 20 catches over 20 yards.<\/p>\n
Lambert-Smith also etched his name in the history books, becoming the only player in Penn State history with multiple 80-yard receptions over a career.<\/p>\n
A Norfolk, Virginia native, Lambert-Smith attended Maury High School and worked his way to becoming one of the top prospects in the state.<\/p>\n
He earned all-state honors each of his final three years at the school and helped lead the school to an undefeated 16-0 record and the state championship in his senior year, the school’s first title in 80 years.<\/p>\n
After 58 total touchdowns in his last two seasons, Lambert-Smith finished his prep career as the No. 5 prospect in the state of Virginia.<\/p>\n
The receiver has some NFL family as well.<\/p>\n
Lambert-Smith’s uncle is former Seahawks Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor, who was also a fifth-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
