He also hit all his receiving incentives, earning extra money from the Broncos thanks to some impressive stats.

Still, even the biggest Courtland Sutton fans know he’s a very good NFL receiver, although generally not regarded as elite. That’s reserved for the likes of Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb and others.

But at least one voter in ESPN’s top-10 wide receiver rankings that came out on Wednesday thinks Sutton belongs on the list. He was in the “receiving votes” category that was based on a survey of league executives, coaches and scouts.

Now, the group that was named was big. In addition to the top-10, there were six “honorable mentions” and then another 10 guys who received votes, including Courtland Sutton. That makes 26 guys who got some love, showing what a talented position it is across the NFL.

Still, for Sutton to get any votes at all is an accomplishment, given how competitive the group is league wide. Chase was ranked No. 1, Jefferson No. 2, Hill No. 3, Lamb No. 4 and A.J. Brown rounded out the top-5.

Sutton is entering the last year of his contract with the Broncos, one that is slated to pay him $14 million. It’s been pretty quiet without any reports of a new deal imminent, but one has to think that’s something Sutton wants done.

However, Denver’s front office could be looking at the nearly 30-year-old as needing to have another big season in 2025 before they dish out a contract extension.

We’ll see how it shakes out, but Courtland Sutton even appearing on this list from ESPN is more ammo for him and his camp.

To see the full wide receiver rankings, click here.

Follow @PetersenWill

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a big season in 2024.
