Jaguars sponsored flag football teams heading off to Canton, OH<\/p>\n
Jacksonville Jaguars held sendoff party Sunday July 13, 2025 at Miller Electric Center in Jacksonville, Fla. for their flag football teams that they sponsor for the NFL Flag Championships next week in Canton, Ohio.<\/p>\n
The Jaguars Elite 14U team advanced to the quarterfinals of the NFL Flag Championship.Brysen Wright, a rising sophomore at Mandarin High, led the team with two touchdown catches and three one-point conversions in their latest victory.Several other Jacksonville-area teams are also competing in the tournament, with some still undefeated in their respective age groups.<\/p>\n
Brysen Wright caught two touchdown passes and three one-point conversions on Friday to lead the Jaguars<\/a> Elite 14U to the quarterfinals of the NFL Flag Championship at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.\u00a0<\/p>\n Wright, a rising sophomore at Mandarin High School, scored 15 of his team’s points in a 20-14 victory over Ryan Football, a team representing the Miami Dolphins<\/a>. The Jaguars will play Old Skewl (Baltimore Ravens<\/a>) on Saturday at 11 a.m., televised on NFL Network and streamed on ESPN+ and NFL+.\u00a0<\/p>\n If the Jags win, they will play the winner of a game between HFFL Empire (Raiders<\/a>) and RFP (Bills<\/a>) at Noon on Sunday. A victory there would send the Jaguars to the championship game at 4 p.m. on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Jaguars Elite outscored three opponents 89-24 in pool play on Thursday. Playing teams representing the Jaguars’ AFC South opponents, the team beat Sumner Elite (Texans) 28-0, Lexington East (Colts<\/a>) 26-6 and Prime (Texans) 35-18.\u00a0<\/p>\n Also still alive for their age groups championships are the Jaguars 10U Elite Girls, NxtGen 10U and the Marion County Juice 8U, who are all 3-0 in their games so far.\u00a0<\/p>\n Nine First Coast teams representing the Jaguars are a combined 23-6 in the NFL Flag Championships through Friday’s games.
