The Miami Dolphins are entering the season with a lot of unknowns after making a surprising trade that sent away Jalen Ramsey and brought in Jonnu Smith. Despite the shake-up, the team still has Tyreek Hill, who\u2019s made it clear that he\u2019s approaching this year with a new mindset.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEvery day I\u2019m trying to prove myself as one of those guys this team can depend on in crucial moments. . . . It was tough. Emotions were high then. At the end of the day, I\u2019m just looking to move forward from that. Hoping that I can prove myself and prove to my teammates that I\u2019m still one of those ones,\u201d Hill said.<\/p>\n

While Hill\u2019s focus is promising, the pressure may be even greater on head coach Mike McDaniel. This season could be his last with the Dolphins, as expectations are high and the recent trade hasn\u2019t helped his case.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of those now put a tremendous amount of pressure on McDaniel, who is coming off his first under .500 season with the Dolphins, who were also on the outside looking in on the playoffs. We already listed McDaniel as a head coach with one of the hottest seats in the NFL entering 2025, and the road to save his job just got even more difficult,\u201d CBS Sports\u2019 Tyler Sullivan wrote.<\/a><\/p>\n

Second-year running back Jaylen Wright is not only looking to make a leap in Year 2 but is also standing firmly behind his head coach. He\u2019s made it clear that the team is out to prove something this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to show them all year. We\u2019re going to keep our foot on their necks, keep our foot on the gas\u2026 there\u2019s a lot of people talking down on the Dolphins, but we\u2019re going to show everybody this year,\u201d Wright said.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Dolphins may have been written off due to internal challenges and offseason moves, but both Hill and Wright have publicly stated that this year will be different.
