Watt signed a three-year, $123 million extension, making him the highest paid non-QB in NFL history for the second time in his career.<\/p>\n<p>That divides into $41 million per year, which could become a new target point for Cowboys All-Pro pass rusher Micah Parsons, who is also seeking a contract extension. That said, at his youth camp in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania earlier this week, Parsons said that each player&#8217;s contract situation is different and the numbers may not all correlate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Their numbers got nothing to do with mine, and my numbers ain&#8217;t got nothing to do with them\u2026&#8221; Parsons said. &#8220;I&#8217;m younger than [Trey] Hendrickson. I mean, [Aidan] Hutchinson&#8217;s coming off an injury. Everyone&#8217;s circumstances is completely different\u2026 You know, it&#8217;s different. Everyone&#8217;s circumstance is different.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Parsons has said in the past that he&#8217;s hopeful the two sides can come to an agreement before the team heads to Oxnard on July 20, and the clock is ticking quickly towards that deadline.
