The Cleveland Browns are in an interesting position when it comes to their quarterback room. One name to watch closely is Shedeur Sanders, as the team is still evaluating how to handle his development. According to Cleveland.com\u2019s Mary Kay Cabot,<\/a> Sanders performed so well at the end of spring ball that he has a legitimate chance to compete for the starting job when training camp begins.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe good news for Sanders, the Browns\u2019 fifth-round pick out of Colorado, is that he performed so well over the final two weeks of spring ball that he\u2019ll come back for training camp with a legitimate shot to compete for the starting job, at least in the early going,\u201d Cabot wrote.<\/p>\n

Despite the buzz, the Browns are proceeding cautiously with Sanders. The team is facing a tough opening stretch of the season, which is a major reason they\u2019re hesitant to throw the rookie into a starting role too soon.<\/p>\n
