{"id":224556,"date":"2025-07-21T13:00:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-21T13:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/224556\/"},"modified":"2025-07-21T13:00:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-21T13:00:10","slug":"espn-ranks-sauce-gardner-quinnen-williams-and-garrett-wilson-among-top-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/224556\/","title":{"rendered":"ESPN Ranks Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams and Garrett Wilson Among Top 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/45441704\/top-10-nfl-players-every-position-2025-jeremy-fowler-best-quarterbacks-running-backs-wide-receivers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ESPN\u2019s sixth annual NFL player rankings<\/a>, League executives, coaches and scouts voted CB <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/team\/players-roster\/sauce-gardner\/\" title=\"Sauce Gardner\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sauce Gardner<\/a>, DL <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/team\/players-roster\/quinnen-williams\/\" title=\"Quinnen Williams\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Quinnen Williams<\/a> and WR <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorkjets.com\/team\/players-roster\/garrett-wilson\/\" title=\"Garrett Wilson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Garrett Wilson<\/a> among the league&#8217;s best at their respective positions<\/p>\n<p>Gardner was voted the No. 5 cornerback after recording 9 pass defenses on 51 targets last season.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Gardner had a respectable 2024 season, holding quarterbacks to an 83.3 passer rating when targeted,&#8221; senior NFL national reporter Jeremy Fowler wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Williams also earned the No. 5 slot on the list of top defensive tackles after his third consecutive Pro Bowl selection in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Williams has been one of the constants amid persistent Jets changes,&#8221; Fowler wrote.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, Williams recorded 6 sacks and 18 QB hits, and he has recorded 23.5 sacks over the course of the past three seasons.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;True three-down player &#8212; talented inside rusher who is fully capable against the run,&#8221; an NFL personnel staffer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s a guy you have to dedicate a game plan to,&#8221; an NFL coordinator added. &#8220;One of the most complete interior guys in the game.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wilson, who landed at No. 10 on the wide receivers list, made his top-10 debut after recording three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.
