\n\tThe stars of Netflix<\/a> reality series \u201cAmerica\u2019s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders\u201d spoke to Variety at the streamer\u2019s Summer Break event at Santa Monica Pier on Thursday night about their excitement for the show\u2019s second season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEvery year, it\u2019s always about our sisterhood. I feel like you really do see that through the screen, and it\u2019s just as real in real life as it is on the screen,\u201d said five-year DCC veteran Jada McLean.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the second season explores the inner workings of what it takes to make the team, the series shines a light on the personal lives of the women behind the team. \u201cIt\u2019s just another side of us. I think a lot of people think that we\u2019re very perfect and we\u2019re not. And so I think in season two, people get to see the ups and the downs a little closer, and they have more respect for us as Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, but also us as women,\u201d said Charly Barby, one of this season\u2019s newest cheerleaders.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to the \u201cDallas Cowboys Cheerleaders,\u201d stars from other Netflix reality shows, including \u201cSelling Sunset,\u201d \u201cSelling the OC,\u201d and \u201cMaking The Band,\u201d also made appearances throughout the night. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMaking The Band\u201d host and Backstreet Boy member AJ McLean emceed the night with various performances from some of the bands featured in the series. McLean introduced the four bands on stage, each giving their own take on hit songs. Midnight Til Morning performed a version of Billie Eilish\u2019s \u201cOcean Eyes,\u201d while girl group 3Quency performed Muni Long\u2019s \u201cMade for Me,\u201d with a surprise appearance from Long herself on stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAbbey Romeo\u00a0from\u00a0\u201cLove on the Spectrum\u201d performed \u201cBoyfriend Forever,\u201d her original song about boyfriend David Isaacman.<\/p>\n
