Will Sheppard’s getting an opportunity in the NFL.<\/p>\n
The former Colorado Buffaloes<\/a> wide receiver is signing with the Green Bay Packers<\/a>, according to a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz<\/a>. Before landing in Green Bay, Sheppard attended Denver Broncos<\/a> mandatory minicamp on a tryout basis<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Sheppard (6-2, 198 pounds) was one of seven players<\/a> who tried out for the Broncos<\/a> at mandatory minicamp, but none of them were signed. The 23-year-old receiver spent four years at Vanderbilt before transferring to Colorado<\/a> ahead of the 2024 season.<\/p>\n He had an impressive fall with the Buffaloes<\/a>, totaling 48 receptions for 621 yards and six touchdowns in 2024. Sheppard wrapped up his college career with 200 catches for 2,688 yards and 27 touchdowns in 55 games.
