The Bengals\u2019 training camp began Tuesday, and star Trey Hendrickson is nowhere near Cincinnati.<\/p>\n
While contract talks with Hendrickson seemed to be trending in the right direction Monday, training camp has now begun, and the negotiations may have crumbled as the All-Pro is not reporting to camp.<\/p>\n
Hendrickson posted a photo to his Instagram story Tuesday with a location tag of Florida, a few states and hundreds of miles south of where he is supposed to be practicing with his team if he were happy with his contract.<\/p>\n

Bengals owner Mike Brown spoke Monday on his optimism surrounding a deal with Hendrickson<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe will get it done at some point, I think,\u201d Brown told reporters. \u201cI think we are in a good spot. I hope this thing comes together soon.\u201d<\/p>\n But Hendrickson\u2019s holdout suggests that an agreement may be a bit further away.<\/p>\n On NFL Network\u2019s \u201cGood Morning Football,\u201d former linebacker Manti Te\u2019o reported that Hendrickson spoke with him, and he confirmed the Bengals\u2019 offer for Hendrickson was \u201catrociously low.<\/a>\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Trey Hendrickson is still waiting for a contract extension in Cincinnati.
