\n\tCaitlin Clark<\/a> got to spend some quality time with Taylor Swift <\/a>earlier this year, when fans spotte the pair chatting at an AFC playoff game in January. But what exactly were they talking about?<\/p>\n

\n\tOn an episode of the A Touch More podcast posted onMonday (July 21), the WNBA superstar revealed just that. When hosts Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe pulled up a photo of the 14-time Grammy winner and Clark whispering together<\/a> in their box suite at the Jan. 18 Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans match-up \u2014 playfully demanding that the Indiana Fever athlete divulge what they had been talking about \u2014 Clark shared that she had simply been \u201cexplaining\u201d some football rules to Swift.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHonestly, I love football, and I know a lot about football,\u201d Clark began. \u201cSo I was, like, telling her why they threw a flag. In the best way, she doesn\u2019t know a lot about [football] \u2014 I don\u2019t even know everything, so I was just explaining things.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut yeah, that was really fun,\u201d the point guard added. \u201cI\u2019m a big Chiefs fan, so getting to spend time with Taylor, and then also Travis [Kelce] played really well that game.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThough Swift may not have entered the NFL world with much football knowledge, she\u2019s certainly learned a lot from attending boyfriend Travis Kelce\u2019s games ever since they started dating in 2023. Both the tight end and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes have previously said that the performer has taken to drawing up her own plays<\/a>, though Kelce admits that she\u2019s \u201ca little biased\u201d<\/a> and often centers them around him.<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift and Clark\u2019s gameday hangout had been a long time coming, with the pop star inviting the basketball player<\/a> to accompany her on a Chiefs outing way back in November. In addition to several bags of Eras Tour merch, Clark says Swift also wrote a personalized note saying that she and \u201cTrav\u201d were hoping to attend one of her Fever games.<\/p>\n

\n\tA couple of weeks prior to the Chiefs vs. Texans game, Clark gushed <\/a>about the musician on Travis Kelce\u2019s New Heights podcast. \u201cIt\u2019s just a great show and a lot of fun,\u201d she said of her Eras experience in Indianapolis. \u201cMy mom was begging me to take her. She\u2019s like, \u2018I gotta go, like, everybody\u2019s talking about it.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, OK\u2019 \u2026 Full Swiftie, turned my mom into a full Swiftie now. Good time, good time.\u201d<\/p>\n
