FRISCO \u2014 The Cowboys<\/a> started the process of finalizing contracts with their draft picks this week. <\/p>\n

First-round pick Tyler Booker signed a four-year deal worth $22.5 million Friday, picking up a $13 million signing bonus.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re both on the same page,\u201d Booker said after the rookie minicamp walkthrough. \u201cWe know this rookie contract is just, Lord willing, the first of a couple I have in front of me. I was just focused on getting to work, I wasn\u2019t too worried about the little extremities. That\u2019s stuff for my agent to worry about. So I told her, \u2018Look let\u2019s get this thing worked (out). I\u2019m ready to get to work.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

Of the nine draft picks, only second-rounder Donovan Ezeiruaku, the Boston College defensive end, and fifth-round running back Jaydon Blue (Texas) have yet to sign deals. <\/p>\n

Booker was the fourth offensive lineman selected in the first round, going after Will Campbell, Armand Membou and Kelvin Banks Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the second consecutive draft the Cowboys have picked an offensive lineman as they begin the process of rebuilding the line. <\/p>\n

Last year, Oklahoma tackle Tyler Guyton was picked in the first round. <\/p>\n

Booker (right guard) and Guyton (left tackle) are the projected starters on an offensive line led by left guard Tyler Smith, another former first-round pick. <\/p>\n

Briefly: The rain forced the Cowboys to hold their nearly hour-long walkthrough indoors. <\/p>\n

– The Cowboys have some locker room changes. Edge rusher Micah Parsons\u2019 locker is now next to Dak Prescott. CeeDee Lamb\u2019s locker moved from next to Prescott to the space that was occupied by Zack Martin. Terence Steele\u2019s locker moved to the old spot of DeMarcus Lawrence. Lamb and Steele\u2019s locker are at the end of a row of lockers normally reserved for trusted veterans. <\/p>\n

– The Cowboys signed cornerback Bruce Harmon (Rockwall-Heath) as an undrafted free agent.<\/p>\n

– Cornerback Shavon Revel, a third-round pick, hugged team physician Dan Cooper in the locker room. Dr. Cooper performed the ACL surgery Revel underwent last year when he played for East Carolina. <\/p>\n
