WR Treylon Burks (torn ACL) is expected to be good to go after only taking part in individual period during OTAs and minicamp. Additionally, as @AtoZSports<\/a> 1st reported, L’Jarius Sneed (quad) and Lloyd Cushenberry (Achilles) will be on PUP when the #Titans<\/a> start training camp.<\/p>\n

Just hours after news broke that quarterback Will Levis would be lost for the season with a shoulder injury, more injury news started to trickle out of the facility in advance of the start of training camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Turron Davenport of ESPN reports that wide receiver Treylon Burks has been cleared and will be a full participant when the Tennessee Titans<\/a> open camp. It’s a significant step forward for the former first-round pick and gives him a viable shot to battle for a roster spot in a crowded receiver room.<\/p>\n

While his roster spot is far from secure, there is no denying that Burks has had an impressive recovery from ACL surgery. Earlier in the offseason, head coach Brian Callahan questioned whether Burks would be available at all during training camp, initially setting the start of the regular season as his estimated return date. Instead, Burks was a surprise participant during individual drills during OTAs and minicamp.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His healthy return should make the battle for roster spots at wide receiver even more fun to watch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The news was not quite as positive for two other injured Titans. Davenport backed up a report from A to Z Sports Nashville that cornerback L\u2019Jarius Sneed (knee\/quad) and center Lloyd Cushenberry (Achilles) will open camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While no details on their status were given, it should be a topic addressed early in Callahan\u2019s first training camp press availability.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Update: President Chad Brinker and general manager Mike Borgonzi did address Cushenberry and Sneed during their opening press availability, saying that both players were week-to-week rehabbing their injuries.<\/p>\n
