With massive speculation surrounding Nick Saban’s coaching<\/a> future, Colin Cowherd took to his show with the “worst-kept secret in the South” right now.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday’s show the syndicated FS1 radio host connected the dots between Saban, Arch Manning and the Cleveland Browns<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“This is the worst-kept secret in the South,” Cowherd claimed. “[Jimmy] Haslam, owner of the Browns, huge SEC\/Tennessee booster, leans heavily on the Manning family. Arch Manning is part of the Manning family. Saban is incredibly close to not only Jimmy Haslam, but Saban’s close to the Manning family as well.”<\/p>\n

“If he could land, I’m told, a top quarterback like Harbaugh going to the Chargers for [Justin] Herbert \u2014 he would take a phone call for the NFL,” Cowherd reported<\/a>. “And there are two teams guaranteed to be awful this year in the NFL: Cleveland and the Saints. Nick Saban has coached in Cleveland with the Browns under the Belichick staff and he coached at LSU. This is not a conspiracy theory.”<\/p>\n

“Manning in Cleveland would be so sick,” a user said.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a QB who hasn’t seen the field much hyped like this,” another replied.<\/p>\n

“To me if Saban is gonna return to the NFL<\/a> the Dolphins make the most sense. He stays in his home state of Florida & would have a foundation of Tua, Waddle & Minkah as a foundation of leadership. All 3 are guys he not only coached but raves about,” a fan explained.<\/p>\n

“Im all for conspiracy theories but even this sounds delulu\u2026.” another person commented.<\/p>\n

“Where colin was bored.”<\/p>\n

Those who have it on good authority believe Nick Saban is getting the itch to coach again. Where that’ll ultimately be though is anyone’s guess right now.<\/p>\n
