Former Kentucky star Josh Hines-Allen<\/a> is set to enter year seven in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2025. The 28-year-old signed a five-year extension with the AFC South franchise last offseason worth $150 million. Jacksonville did that for a reason.<\/p>\n

The former No. 7 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is one of the best players in football. That was confirmed this week when Hines-Allen was named the No. 63 overall player in the Top 100 countdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cJosh is one of those guys that makes me happy that I don\u2019t play on the edge,\u201d Former Jaguars starting center Mitch Morse said. \u201cNot only is he a physical presence, he\u2019s got the physical attributes, but he also is diligent in his craft.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2024, Josh Hines-Allen recorded 45 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, eight sacks, and 19 QB hits. This was a year after Hines-Allen recorded a career-high 17.5 sacks. The veteran has become one of the best pass rushers in the NFL and will be a key building-block as new head coach Liam Coen and general manager James Gladstone take over in Duval County.<\/p>\n

You may recall Josh Hines-Allen introducing his young son, Wesley, to football fans watching the 2019 NFL Draft. Wesley was one of the stars of the entire night when his dad was drafted and he joined his father on stage with Roger Goodell.<\/p>\n

Six years later, Hines-Allen shined another light on Wesley. Unfortunately, this time, it is to announce Wesley\u2019s leukemia diagnosis. Josh and his wife, Kaitlyn, shared a video to tell their son\u2019s story and to thank his support circle for being there through difficult times. The Hines-Allens learned of Wesley\u2019s diagnosis seven months ago.<\/p>\n

Wesley is \u201cback to being a big brother\u201d today to his younger siblings.<\/p>\n

The Hines-Allen family will launch a season-long campaign through their \u201cFour One For All\u201d charity, called \u201cFour One For Hope,\u201d to raise money and awareness for four organizations committed to fighting cancer: Nemours Children\u2019s Health, the American Cancer Society, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville, and the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.<\/p>\n
