The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have a lot of work to do in 2025 if they have any chance of unseating the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> as division champs. The Rams continue to be the favorites to win the division in 2025, but they have a bit of uncertainty at the start of training camp.<\/p>\n Quarterback Matthew Stafford is dealing with some back soreness and has not practiced yet.<\/p>\n He was originally expected to take the first week off and then begin to get work in starting next week.<\/p>\n Plans have changed<\/a>, according to Rams head coach Sean McVay.<\/p>\n McVay now says that Stafford is considered week-to-week and admitted that probably should have been the case since the start.<\/p>\n However, the plan is to have Stafford ready for the regular season, and that should be enough.<\/p>\n However, considering Stafford is 37 years old, a balky back is something to perhaps worry about.
